Roda Golf course is an 18 hole, par 72 and 6177 meters in length. This course has strategically placed bunkers, three large lakes and a great deal of strategically planted trees. La Serena Golf Course
La Serena Golf course was designed by Manuel Piñero, regarded as one of the top designers. It encircles the 500 year old "Torre del Rame" which was originally built to keep watch for pirates who took refuge in the tranquil waters of the Mar Menor. La Serena Golf lies in the municipality of Los Alcázares, occupying an expanse of land right next to the Mar Menor. La Serena Golf course is an 18 hole, par 72 and 6168 meters in length.
Mar Menor Golf Village
The Mar Menor Golf Village is located 5 km from the Mar Menor, near the town of Torre Pacheco. The first Polaris World Resort to open, this started off as a 9 hole course but has now been extended to 18 holes. David Thomas designed the first nine holes, par 37 of 3,275 meters in length. The back nine holes were designed by Nicklaus Design par 35 is 2,878 meters in length.
La Torre Golf Resort
La Torre Golf Resort is located only a few kilometres from the beaches of the Mar Menor. The course is a 18 hole par 68 Jack Nicklaus designed golf course and set within a landscape containing over five hectares of elaborately sculpted bunkers which help to separate the holes. The three large lakes and the golf course is complemented with lush landscaping.
La Manga Club Golf Resort
La Manga Club is recognised as Europe’s top golf resort, with its three top-quality, 18=hole championship courses and outstanding practice facilities, it has been voted Europe’s top golf holiday resort twice in the past five years. The resort has also been chosen as the official winter training base of the German PGA.
This wonderful resort has played host to many international tournaments including the Spanish Open, PGA Spanish Championships, Spanish Junior Championships, Ladies’ Spanish Open and Senior Spanish Open for men.
La Manga South Golf Course
Originally designed by Robert D Putman, this classic championship course was remodelled in 1992 by Arnold Palmer, who won the Spanish Open here in 1975.
The South Golf course is located in the centre of the golf valley. With wide palm-fringed fairways, water hazards that come into play on 15 of the 18 holes and few hidden dangers.
At 6,499 metres, par 72, the South golf course can be enjoyed by golfers of all levels.
La Manga North Golf Course
Slightly shorter than the South, with tighter fairways and larger greens, the North Course offers a different, yet no less challenging, round of golf. A feature of the greens, all built to USGA specification. Relying on precision rather than length, an added challenge is provided by the wide variety of water hazards and 'barrancas' that snake their way through the course.
La Manga West Golf Course
Set amid serene pine woodlands, the West Course's design closely follows the natural contours of the undulating land. Its distinct character makes it a good alternative to the other, more classical championship courses.
Saurines de la Torre Golf
Saurines de la Torre Golf located in Torre Pacheco, Murcia, is an 18-hole par 72 desert style golf course with influences of the Nicklaus golf course in Lake, Las Vegas. Its main characteristics are undulating fairways and greens among desert dunes, few bunkers and a great six hectare lake. Holes 9 and 18 go around the lake, which guarantees an exciting final.
Peraleja Golf Resort
Another course designed by Severiano Ballesteros located in Sucina, Murcia. The course is a 72 par and 6089 meters in length. It has been designed to make the most of the rugged landscape and while it is a challenging course with some difficult greens and strategically placed hazards, it can be enjoyed by golfers of all levels.
Mosa Trajectum
Mosa Trajectum is the only ecological golf course in the region of Murcia. The world class championship course has been designed to PGA and USGA specifications and is split into three 9 hole courses, they are Pine (holes 1-9), Stone (holes 10-18) and the Olive (holes 19-27). Golfers have the choice of playing on one or all three courses.
El Valle Golf Resort
This 18 hole Jack Nicklaus designed golf course is located next to the El Valle regional nature reserve, an area of great beauty at the foot of the Cresta del Gallo mountain range. The golf course is routed in a "core" format that groups several holes together while keeping the surrounding development on the perimeter. This means many holes border other golf holes and not houses, creating a more open and natural golf experience.
Hacienda Riquelme Golf Resort
Hacienda Riquelme Golf Resort was designed by Jack Nicklaus and is located in Sucina, only a few kilometres from the beaches of the Mar Menor. The 18-hole, par 72 golf course runs between Olive trees, wild flower meadows and large lakes. Due to the large size of the course, Hacienda Riquelme has wide fairways, five lakes, strictly contoured greens, well-defined bunkers and provides a true challenge for golfers of all levels.
